ALICE COOPER AND MARILYN MANSON TEAM UP FOR SUMMER “MASTERS OF MADNESS” 2013 TOUR
In what is obviously a "dream" pairing, or some might say a "nightmare," Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson will be teaming up for the "Masters of Madness" tour June 1 through 28. Following recent pairings of Alice with Rob Zombie and then Rob Zombie with Manson, this combination of Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson has been long-awaited by fans of both artists.
The first show to be announced is June 4th in Salt Lake City at the Usana Amphitheatre, tickets for the Salt Lake City show at Usana Amphitheatre will go on sale on Friday, March 8th, with advance ticket pre-sales and VIP packages available at www.alicecooper.com. More shows across the US and Canada will be announced soon.
Alice Cooper is a true rock icon, having pioneered the use of theatrics and shocking images onstage in concerts from the earliest days of the original band of the same name. Since going solo, he has continued to produce elaborate stage shows providing fans with both shock and rock of the highest caliber.
Inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, Alice has toured and recorded continuously, with his most recent album being Welcome 2 My Nightmare through UMe. Recorded with longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin, who produced the original ground breaking, multi-platinum Welcome To My Nightmare album in 1975, the album picks up right where they left off, with Alice trapped in his own warped mind.
Alice's catalog of hits and anthems, including "I'm Eighteen," "No More Mr Nice Guy," School's Out," "Elected," "Poison," and others, are included in his current "Raise The Dead" show, which also features his musical tribute to his fallen friends John Lennon, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix. Currently, Alice's touring band features the three guitar attack of Orianthi, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie, backed by bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel.
Additionally, "Nights With Alice Cooper," Alice’s nightly radio show, is available in nearly 100 cities in the USA, Canada, Australia, and the UK. The show features his favorite classic rock songs along with his insider anecdotes about many of the artists.
Marilyn Manson’s most recent full-length album Born Villain, his eighth overall, debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. It also grabbing the #1 spots on both the Heavy Album Chart and the Independent Album Chart.
“Born Villain is a return to form,” says CNN. “A hard-rocking album, brimming with rich imagery, visceral blowback and the glamour-meets-gutter eroticism that his best work evokes.” Rolling Stone has called the album some of his most “visceral and provocative tunes.” Born Villain earned Manson his fourth Grammy nomination at the 2013 Grammys in the category for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for the album’s lead single “No Reflection.”
The tumultuous relationship Marilyn Manson has cultivated with the public through his genre-defying music and anti-status quo message of thinking for oneself has resulted in sold-out tours, protests, legal battles, adoration, hate, more than 50 million records sales, award-winning distilled spirits, several Grammy nominations and, most importantly, a long list of some of the most enduring and powerful singles ever, such as “Lunchbox,” “Get Your Gunn” “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” “The Beautiful People,” “Antichrist Superstar,” “Tourniquet,” “The Dope Show,” “I Don’t Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me),” “The Fight Song,” “mOBSCENE,” “Heart-Shaped Glasses,” “Coma White” and “If I Was Your Vampire.”

come to dorset please
is your tour coming to scranton-wilker-barre area this year 2013
PLEASE come to the South Eastern US, I am not even asking for FL but anywhere in the SE...
I see that ticketmaster posted Montgomery, AL for Halloween night, so most likely around then for SEC territory.........just sayin'.......
come to london
Im from Brisbane , Australia and im wondering when Alice will be touring here again????
Does anyone know if they are touring Australia? I've never seen them before, and would love too!
Anyone know if they're coming to the UK at all? Would love to see both of them in the one night! Dream come true.
So far, the only listing for Alice in the UK is August 8th at the Cropredy Festival - no Marilyn. The rest of the year hasn't been finalized yet, as far as I've seen. Alice usually tours through the fall, though, so who knows where he might go then? He hasn't been to Australia for awhile. I know they'd like to see him again, too...
Ah, well.Thank you, anyway! I actually was fortunate enough to see Alice last year on Halloween where I live in Scotland and I'm going to see Manson in the summer this year whilst I'm on holiday in America. Would have been great to see my two favourite artists in the one night but oh well! I still get to see them separately and will hopefully be able to see Alice again this year later on.
I am also wondering the same thing. I just purchased tickets for Alice Coopers newly listed show in Minneapolis at the State Theatre on July 15. I am hoping that Marilyn Manson is going to be there. The ad that got me to the information says both are to be there. I will be saddened to hear its just Cooper however I am sure I would still enjoy the show, I just REALLY want to see Manson again :)
Thanks
I checked several sites for concert listings. Originally, Manson was supposed to be on the 15th date with Alice, but now nothing shows that. I know that Alice is doing a show at the same theater on the 14th. You might have to contact the actual theater to find out what is going on there...If it is just Alice for the 15th, you will still have a good time. If you've never seen Alice, you are in for a real treat :D
I got a concert ticket for July 10 in the embassy theater from mighty fine tickets, the website, not for ticket master, WELL, I wanted mainly to see marilyn manson... so i checked upa nd later i called the embassy theater and they said that ONLY Alice Cooper is going to be playing and Marilyn Manson wont be, when I got tickets for 110 dollars. What do you guys think
?
If the website is legitimate, and it misrepresented what the concert would be (in other words, it said that Marilyn Manson would be part of the show) you can maybe get a refund. If not, then just enjoy Alice. You won't regret going to his show, as he is a living legend...Hopefully at the price you paid, these are good seats up close - the best place to be for an Alice show! Just enjoy!
If Manson isn't part of they they should charge double- Matt
I finally figured that out myself its only alice cooper in indiana :/ u have to go to cleveland or bedford Illinois maybe u can contact them and transfer the tickets if not you can try to sell them on ebay or craigslist but sadly you could have got the tickets for 60$ at ticket master so thats probably all you will get out of them
Well,....I think you need to PAY ATTENTION to what you're doing! The "Masters of Madness" tour pairing only runs from June 1st to the 30th. Ticket "brokers" are a option if you want good seats for a show (only because there is some kind of behind-the-scenes-insider-trechery going on), but YOU have got to know the event information before you press the majic button. ...... you can try to re-sell you're ticket and hope to break even......
.......just sayin'........J.D.
its been advertising both i was about to do the same as the last guy if they would tell us what the hell was going on 4 different sites are saying all something different so we dont need more smart ass people thanks. its been saying they are in 3 different areas of indiana its just now saying its only cooper get your facts strait as well
The add confusion is due to the fact that Alice is trying to back peddle from the biggest tour blunder pairing he and Shep ever made...
Yeah, you are right. When I was clicking around different shows for tickets, I noticed that one or two that I knew were only Alice, displayed the promo for "Masters of Madness", (because of the original press schedule and the venues' actual website). So that is a BIG mistake on behalf of all those in control of such things. (my facts were straight thank you!).........oh yeah,...does it really make me a "smart ass" when I point out the obvious to a "dumb ass"?......by the way,it may be that both of the Minneapolis shows are Coop only.............just sayin'........"let the buyer beware"
You are right, of course. There were listings for both on some sites, and now they're not. It's always a "buyer beware" issue, isn't it? But the ticket outlets need to get their acts together, too...
Anyone actually get their tickets in the mail yet? Bought mine through the AliceCooperVIP site on presale March 14. Still have not seen the tickets.
Also, for those interested, according to whoever runs Alice's Facebook page, he is closing all shows.
WHAAAT?! I got my ticket already for a July show, from Ticketmaster. I also get a dinner buffet included, and they called about that to set the time just last week, so as far as I know, the show is still on. Did somebody hack into the Facebook page? And IF Alice was to cancel the tour, he'd be the first one to apologize to his fans on his webpage....
Sorry for the confusion. I ordered through this website on the presale. My other comment was regarding whether Alice was playing before or after Manson. The last I saw on his facebook page, Alice is playing last. That could be wrong.
Thank God- Manson isn't part of my show date!
Thank you for clearing that up...
Hey eienstein anonymous, he said "closing" shows, not "cancel" all shows!!!
....just sayin'....
Are you people actually serious.... First of all why the hell is the subject of religion even being mentioned with these 2 great ENTERTAINERS!?! Incase nobody noticed, the whole satanism thing has been used time and time again for shock purposes and nothing more(shock rock anyone) Its sad people like you who fail to recognise what is obvious the rest of the oxygen breathing world, manson is as tounge in cheek as it gets with maybe more then one substance or 5 thrown in there. Secondly to call Coopers faith a farce, he dosent know what he beleives himself and holds no answers to anyone begging and who are any of you to ask? Thirdly, how anyone has the misfunctioning brain cell to deliver a statement that Manson is better then Cooper....Its legend verses bellend, Cooper has re-invented himself decade after decade while the opiate freak you "satanists" worship has churned out the same babble bullshit year after year with just a tweak of his narcotic cocktail, retiring, making another album and still finding it hard to realise nobody was that bothered he was gone in the first place.
I'm tired of it already Alice fans are angry that Alice is opening for Manson. Manson is far better as he has harnessed the power of my Dark Savior. The darkness that Manson brings shall swallow the light. We worship Satan as ourselves, that is the freedom we seek. To do as we please to fulfill our God Selves. Alice has faltered in his Christian farce, just look into the past and see the disdain he had for him, now he tours with him. All hail the black light. Out of our way on this tour Alice fans. I will make it my personal mission to offend every woman and child you dare bring. So spend your money with me, build the machine- all hail!
WTH,really.Do you really know what Manson is all about.
It's people like you who make him sound bad.I will be seeing them both on June 18.Both great "PERFORMERS"
I give you credit for referring to Manson as a "performer" as opposed to a musician...
Most of us Alice fans don't care who he tours with as much as we don't like a "shortened" version of the show!!.........oh yeah, dont know about harnesses, but I used to rush home from school to watch "Dark Shadows", and I know that if you scamble all the letters up it spells "Santa".....ho ho...
....Geez, I hope when Manson swallowed the light, it wasn't plugged in at the other end!!!......just sayin'......
I used to have a cool black light and some glow-in-the-dark wall posters when I was younger, only made me worship my stereo!!
I hope I have offended you on behalf of every woman and child that will attend an Alice Cooper show-----
Hail! Hail! Rock and Roll
James Dean
Ha ha - Dark Shadows...I remember doing the same thing. Wasn't allowed to watch it at home, so went to a friend's house after school to watch it. And I'm not warped from it, either..like rock and roll, it's a matter of how much you take it seriously, or if you're just there to have fun. Me, I'll take the fun any day.. and Alice's shows are just too much fun!
I would reccomend reading "The Antichrist" by Nietzsche.
No Kansas City or Wichita dates? Guess we'll miss it : (
You said "WITCH!"
.....Be patient there anonymous, this is just the first leg of the tour. There is usually a run in aug./sept./oct. and such. Besides, if your in KC, Council Bluffs and St. Charles are three hour drives!
...A short road trip to see a Legend.
...just sayin'.................J.D.
Thanks J.D. I'm in Salina all the venues are 5 or more hours away. I hope they do a second leg...I'd hate to miss this.
Adrienne
Take a road trip, if at all possible, to see Alice. He can't come to every little town, so you have to drive to see him. It's worth the trip to see a living legend! Don't miss your chance!
If Alice continues to "step down" and tour with the likes of Manson the only venues he will be booked to will be little towns... just sayin- Jeff Metzger WI
Alice is not "stepping down". He's expanding his horizons. You don't have to agree with his decisions. I don't like Manson, either, but Alice is still getting new fans every day, and he will be going for a LONG time yet - I hope! There's more comeraderie there, and all the seats are good. The great ones will be great forever - long live Alice!
Thats actually a good thing!.....Small theaters are the best way to see a Coop show. I would still go ANYWHERE to see the living Legend. I don't think "stepping down" has anything to do with it. As a matter of fact, I think Alice would prefer to have it that way.
......Just sayin'...........J.D.
