An interesting and true story from Canada...
My wife's aunt and uncle spend the cold winter months in Phoenix every year, and the uncle is an avid golfer.
Anyway, he went out to play a round of golf one day, but didn't have a partner. The course staff asked if he would like to pair off with another gentleman who happened to be there alone, and he quickly agreed.
The two men played their round of golf, and in the process became friends. And they soon agreeed to continue golfing together.
Now this particular uncle was a tad older than his new partner, and had never been a fan of modern music. So it came as something of a surprise when sometime later he discovered his golfing partner was none other than the man himself, Mister Alice Cooper.
Their friendship continued on for several years I believe, with Alice entertaining the couple on accasion at one of his restaurants in Phoenix.
Now the one down side to this story comes in the fact that I myself have been an Alice fan since the release of "Love It To Death" back in the very early seventies. And my wife's dumb ass uncle never even got me an autograph!
