Aspiring rockers and studio wizards filled the Vancity Theatre Friday afternoon for a panel discussion featuring legendary rocker Alice Cooper, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and critically acclaimed producers Bob Ezrin (KISS, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd) and Garth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine, RHCP).
In the “legends edition” panel organized by Richardson and Ezrin’s Nimbus School of Recording Arts, the four music industry veterans talked about how much the business of making and selling music has changed over the past few decades, and what they are looking for in the next generation of music makers.
