Jacket has been recovered
The storage facility in Los Angeles which houses the Alice Cooper Archives was broken into on March 27, along with three other storage units. A police report has been filed. Items missing include a large quantity of original vinyl records, a jacket, and the original sculpture which was used for the cover of the "Hey Stoopid" album.
With multiple units broken into, we don't believe Alice's Archives was specifically targeted.
If anyone sees anything suspicious or hears anything about these stolen items -- especially on the internet or in Los Angeles -- please let us know at archives@alicecooper.com. Thanks Sickthings!
UPDATE - The jacket in question is in fact the John Richmond jacket, better known as the one worn in Wayne's World. It's one of a kind, and is unmistakable. If you see anyone selling it, please write to us immediately!

Alice Cooper, "Flush the Fashion" Concert - Chicago - Navy Peer - 1980. The band Alice Cooper looked like Devo. They all had identical grey plastic uniforms, including Vince, (Alice). They all had short dark identical hair. Lots of stoners were pissed! They did a great Kraftwerky show, (technically more like Ultravox 1980 live shows), standing behind their synthesizers, acting robotic. The whole time the audience was just sitting there, jaws on the floor. There were jeers. After the set the band quickly came back out and before launching into song, Vince walked up to the mic, grabbed his hair prosthetic and peeled it off revealing the trademark mess of long brown hair. The crowd went wild...Vince said, "you didn't really think I would cut it off". They played a short set of classics everyone seriously grooved on.
No cause for alarm kiddies, 'tis merely the ghost of Brian Nelson. (Renfield, I believe he was affectionately called). Who didn't see that coming for years? Diet Coke is one helluva drug, though...
