Alice was in rare form in Buenos Aires Saturday night, eager to show he was BACK after being forced to miss the show in Santiago due to pesky Salmonella. Apparently, eating Chilean Sea Bass on a flight from Mexico City going into a show day was a bad idea! But he bounced right back on Friday and in the evening was feeling close to 100%.
By Saturday Alice was back to his old self, tearing it up in Buenos Aires! He went poking around in the city during the afternoon, and it seemed like everyone Alice came across kept asking about "Hey Stoopid". I mean EVERYONE. We were walking thru a flea market after lunch and some old lady yelled "Hey Stupid!", though I think she may have been yelling at me to get off of her foot... but regardless, Alice said "That's IT! We're putting it in the set!"
And what a set! Wow! After coming off stage in Buenos Aires Saturday night, Alice said "That was the BEST crowd we've had in a LONG TIME!" Well done Buenos Aires! Hey Stoopid went over extremely well, Alice barely had to sing because the crowd was so loud. Everyone seemed to be in great spirits and the energy was high for what I'd say was probably the best show yet of the tour so far.
Today we're in Porto Alegre, Brazil for a well earned day off. NATURALLY, they are doing construction in the hotel, directly behind my headboard, and apparently with a jackhammer, a leaf blower and dynamite.
Looking forward to tomorrow night's show Porto Alegre! Can you top Buenos Aires??

I came out of the show in Bs As convinced that it was by far the best one I've ever attended. The playlists was incredible. Definitely Mr Cooper IS the best.
Now I can't wait for the next tour...

I had the privilege of attending Mr. Cooper's concert in Brazil yesterday. A memorable show, great improvisations in many timeless classics, showing that Alice still has many cards up his sleeve to impress everyone. Alice Cooper will never sound dated, on the contrary, he continues to influence generations to generations, ranging from KISS, LOU REED, MICHAEL JACKSON, LADY GAGA, Marylin Manson, The Cure, etc, etc, etc.. Without him, there would be no caricature and glam in rock and roll. Without him, the music was just made to sleep. With Alice, rock and roll came into being as a second option: to bring chills. I still can not believe what I saw last Saturday night. It was simply AWESOME!!! A great setlist and an even better performance.

Hey KC, that was an ompressive set for sure.... I LOVED to see alice perform Hey Stoopid that night, I thought that I'd never be able to see that one EVER... but it was a blast...
I've got a VIP pass right after the show and Alice was so kind to spend time with us that I cant even think about anything else than that!
Toby is a gentleman, he even recognize me from 2007 (and 2000) and let me pass first...
It's hard to get back to wrok after that dream I lived on saturday. The experience is going to be one of the most precious I ever lived.
Alice is the best, so glad to travel and made all the effort to be there. I couldnt do otherwise. I HAD TO BE THERE!
