That's right folks. American rock icon Alice Cooper will headline the opening day of Fairport's Cropredy Convention on Thursday 8 August 2013. It is expected to be Cooper's only UK public appearance during the year.

Roger Prigent, who gave up a promising career in fashion photography  when his eyesight began to fail three decades ago and who became a  prominent Manhattan antiques dealer, leading a popular new wave in  French Empire furnishings, died on Saturday in Manhattan. No rocker has had more wild fun in the dark than Alice Cooper, who unveiled a renewed nightmare last night at L.A.'s Orpheum Theatre, an old vaudevillian palace befitting this master horror-rock showman.
