FOR 40 years ALICE COOPER has pioneered shock rock, pushing the boundaries of taste and decency.
And the old fella reckons the dark arts he started are in safe hands with LADY GAGA. 

The veteran rocker, who has "died" on stage more than 60,000 times, believes the hamster wheel-wearing, teacup-holding character in the meat dress is the new queen of Halloween - and his natural successor.

He said: "I would imagine this year there's going to be ten million Lady GaGas dressed up trick or treating.

With Halloween right around the corner what better time to release an Alice Cooper CD/DVD set?  If it wasn’t for Alice there would have never been a Kiss Army or any other rock band that decided to put make up on then consider shock effects as a feature of their act.I don’t think there are too many people out there that would argue that point.

Trick or treat? It will be a treat for Alice Cooper fans when he hosts the Monstrous Munster Mash on WGN America Sunday October 31 (a/k/a Halloween) from 10 AM - 7 PM ET.

  Alice will introduce and provide commentary for 18 episodes of the 1960s series that presented a family of monsters as equivalent to the average neighbors next door. (In the case of Alice Cooper and family this has become a reality!)

Long before Zombie, there was Cooper (aka Vincent Damon Furnier).
