Alice Cooper to Perform with Original Band at Rock Hall Induction

Alice Cooper [the group]—along with a few others—snagged the honor of being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They plan to play at the induction ceremony with the band’s original line-up March 14 at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

It was annouced today that Alice Cooper will be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame as a part of the Class of 2011! Alice Cooper was drafted into the estimable organization Niel Diamond, Darlene Love, New Orleans-based singer Dr. John, Leon Russell, and gravely-voice singer-songwriter Tom Waits. Artists are eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first single or LP.

One Alice Cooper in this world is quite enough - or so you'd think.

The shock rocker thought he was seeing things when he arrived in Zurich for his Theatre of Death tour. He'd been invited along to the Google HQ and arrived to find everyone dressed just like him, in full Alice make-up.
Turns out boss Zurich Googlers are massive fans and they organized an Alice Idol competition in their guest's honour.
Hope they didn't bring their snakes along too...

Alice Cooper Theatre of Death DVD shows him dying once again. As a matter of fact, he has made his living dying. Alice Cooper (Vincent Damon Furnier) is now 60 years old with 40 of those years doing hard rock and roll. I would have thought he was another past-their-timers-still-performing performer. After watching this DVD I can tell you that Alice Cooper is doing it better than ever. I saw his show in the early ‘80’s. This DVD is basically the same show but more elaborate now, better costumes, better props and much, much better sound. This is a very entertaining show.
