News : A MESSAGE FROM ALICE
"Glen Sobel's been having some neck problems, and has been playing the shows in a lot of pain. Because of this, he needs to take a short break to heal. Luckily for us, and for you, Jonathan Mover (from the "Trash" tour and the "Trashes The World" live concert video) was available to help out on short notice. We rehearsed with Jonathan yesterday in NYC and we're all excited about tonight's show in Camden with him. We're looking forward to having Glen back soon." - ALICE
Said Glen: "I'll be off the Alice tour for a few weeks. I've played the last several shows on pain meds due to an inflamed neck situation. We've had some of the best shows on tour with Iron Maiden, so I wanted to do everything I could to stay in the game. I need to get back to LA, have this treated, and then return to finish out our tour dates. In the meantime my main man Jonathan Mover (an Alice band alumni) will be sitting in the drum throne covering for me. I have the utmost confidence that he will deliver the goods along with all my brothers (and sister) in the Alice band. Don't worry about me, I'll be back sooner than later."

Dear Alice. When you are in Boise I would love to buy you dinner. It's a small town, look me up!! Faith Wallace.
Congratulations on having one of the most sophisticated phorums I've came across in some time! Its just incredible how much you can take away from something simply because of how visually beautiful it is. Youve put together a great phorum space great graphics, videos, layout. alicecooper.com is definitely a must-see phorum!
Alice has made comments about how they do American Idol, and he'd rather people do their own original music than stuff that doesn't suit their style. He want to see an "Idol" show for garage bands. THAT he might be willing to do.....
I am trying to express my comments. however your site is not conducive. perhaps youdo not value genuine feedback

I agree!...as long as it doesn't mess with the tour schedule.....He would be perfect .... I'm just sayin.....J.D.
I saw you last night at Sarnia Bayfest. I have wanted to see you in concert for over 20 years and am so glad I was able to get the chance. Great show !! Love Ya
Alice Cooper - when will Denmarks good people be blessed by your tour to Copenhagen?
Get well Soon Glen,But it's also great to see Jonathan Mover playing with Alice Again.
Awesome show in Milwaukee July 4th...Amazing!! Thanks for sharing the heat with us!! \m/ \m/
Thanks for the great Chicago concert and meeting you. You were very sweet.
Saw my first ever Alice Cooper shows on 6/29 and 6/30 and I am sold! I was fortunate enough to be FTTB both nights and got to see the entire thing up close. It was great to finally see this legend and his show was just as good as the one Maiden put on right after. Thanks also too Orianthi for the guitar pic in Washington, DC.
,,,^..^,,,~
I was at the show at sands casino last night! I fell in love with the band 21 years ago and finally got to see them live! I even caught one of orianthi's picks! Thank you guys for making it every bit of what I hoped for!
Caught the AC show at Jones beach, and the musicanship of the drumming and the whole band was amazing! Alice and the band played really tight. Alice sound great and clear. I now find myself catching up and buying the last 20 years of AC that I missed out on. it was the first time i heard the tune "brutal planet "and wondering how was i not aware of this before. Great show!
I'm not trying to be rude to you "anonymous" but "pre-programmed-force-fed-corporate-FM-nonsense-radio" is most likely why you missed out on Brutal Planet and any other good music recorded in the last twenty years.....Respectfully submitted by James Dean
as usual, alice, you're a class act for letting us know about the switch and explaining why. i would've gotten to the peoria, ill., and wondered. some people might even have been upset. i mean, i'd be expecting glen in all of his awesomeness. glad to know you got such a top-knotch replacement. i'm looking forward to seeing him in peoria now!! one class act, you guys are!
No worries, anyone who plays in the Alice band is top-knotch-----get well Glen-----See you in Peoria "anonymous" got me a clean tux and a third row seat, but in the meantime its on to Tinley Park, Sarnia, and Nobelsville.
James Dean
Hope he gets better soon! Gotta tell ya though, I was at the show last nite in Camden, and you put on an awesome show! The sound was amazing, I think even better than Maiden. Definitely the bass sounded a lot better. Hope your still doing it for years to come!
artists are sometimes heroes; to have play with pain!! what courage!
i hope you will recover soon,
DV
hi Glen
get better real soon take care of yourself from your fan Rhiannon
take care Glen!
I guess theres finally something good from Alice never changing his setlist, cause by playing basically the same songs each tour for the last 20 years Jonathan probably had no problem remembering those songs again....Love you Alice, but its long past due for a Major setlist overhaul!!
Hey Alice why not get the drummer from Anvil to fill in? Just a thought
ya health as a drummer can be a challenge at times . ya gota tend to the blows from time to time . get well soon ..
yeah...nothing worse then a pain in the neck...at my age no pun intended...take care..
hope he feels really better soon poor thing :( but i am happy you have someone to help out on your tour Alice :) from your fan Rhiannon
Hope he feels better soon! Best wishes to him and to Alice Cooper and the rest of the Cooper group for the rest of the tour! <3
