News : Alice Joins The Fight Against Foo

Alice joined The Foo Fighters during the second half of their sold out show at Milton Keynes yesterday, July 2nd.  They played Schools Out, followed by I'm Eighteen.  The entire sold out crowd erupted when Alice was introduced.  Dave introduced his band after Young Man Blues, followed by calling their hero "Alice Fucking Cooper!!" onto the stage.  The band went straight into Alice's classic Schools Out.  

The Foo Fighters have been playing Schools Out regularly on their world tour, so when Alice realized they would be in the same area they decided to bring Alice up as a surprise guest.  

Queen's Roger Taylor and Husker Du's Bob Mould also came out as guests during the two hour set.

    Alice is full of it! Full of heart, full of determination, full of love for his craft, & full of so much music that has written itself across the pages of our lives. I wish so many good things for this man. He's a sweety, & a badass, to be doing all he does at 63...he has to be both. God bless him.

    I can't believe forty years ago Alice Cooper went up on my bedroom wall.  Living in Australia then I never had the opportunity to see him live.  Took our daughters to Foo's and couldn't believe it when he came out.  It was amazing and I felt fifteen again.  Hearing Eighteen again was a huge high point for me.  Don't stop - my nine year old is hooked.  She just doesn't know who's more cool - Dave Grohl or Alice Cooper.
