News : Alice Cooper Rock Hall Of Fame Performance

Congratulations! I was at the Hollywood Bowl Concert. I was 14 years old! I knew then that I was watching Rock History! Wolfman Jack introducing you riding a camel, fireworks, helicopters, doves- I remember the whole thing. I could never understand why you were being left out. Elton John was at the Bowl that night. I saw him at the LA Forum the next year rocking out, wearing a white top hat, glitter evertwhere....hmmm, wonder what could have influenced him? Everybody knows where Michael Jackson got the idea for Thriller (Welcome to My Nightmare) and when Bowie was inducted before Alice ( Bowie saw him live in England before Ziggy)- it was just wrong. Now- all is right. My last wish is for the origional band to return to the Bowl 1 more time with Steve Hunter taking over on lead- next year will be the 40th anniversary of that show. WOW! Rock on, Alice!

This was such a wonderful breath of fresh (although, admittedly, deliciously evil) air!!

The original band back as much as possible and rocking!!  Adding Steve Hunter in was an inspired idea!  He was definitely one of the major players in Alice's career, and this was wonderful to include him along with Dennis, Michael, Neal, and Alice.  They could have gone with a sideman, but kept it "in the family" by adding Steve.

Wonderful job, guys!!  WE ARE SO MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TOUR!!!

Way too long coming! You truly started stage rock. Often imitated never duplicated! Congradulations!

Back in 1976-78? we got tickets for all of my family to come you in Montana the concert got cancelled.  We were able to all get to see you three years ago It was a dream come true for 7 oldsters.  I brought my Grandson who is also a big fan he dresses up like you and preforms your music.  We had front row center stage seats and all had a wonderful time. My grandson got your cane and whip. what a night never to be forgotten.  Hopefully a repeat someday. 

Bar none Alice Cooper & the Band are the Greatest Rock & Roll band in the world!!! I'm from Detroit Michigan & we know Rock & Roll like no other!!! I have always went out of my way to see Alice & the band all over the World! ROCK ON ALICE & Congrats!!! Always looking forward to seeing you again!

I am a rock artist/guitarist and learned all the riffs on the billion dollar babies album ,schools out ,killer records when I was a teen and in1986 Iwas listening to the radio inHalifaz and when I found out you were sighning auotgraphs at kellys record store I grabbed those records and waited in a line uo for must be an hour to meet you,I have preties for you also and have bought at least ten or more of your records .Standing in the line up to meet you I was wondering what to say to you ,and then it hit me like a ton of bricks a burning question,what happened to your original band?when my turn came up and I asked you this you just raised your left arm up and plopped it down again,oh I said .I still have those records you sighned and will till I die the music helped me become the great guitar player people say I am and as much as I didnt like you dropping your original band ,I still love all your work and when I went to your show in Calgary last year when the lights went down I threw 13 of my cds on your stage I wonder if you got one?Any way schools out is what at12 years old got me hooked on rock music and congratulations on your induction into the hall of fame,I bought Along came a spider and am loking forward to buying your new album I still say your original band was your best,thanks for giving me something to live for without AliceCooper My life would not have been worth living for as your music helped me through a tough childhood ,and as a result I have sold manycds of my own and at 51 am still striving to make music and all because in1972 my older sister brought home Schools out and I still have it and the other recordsgod bless you and your original band for stticking it out.wwwAliasHanz.com

ROCK ON ALICE!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a huge moment for me and all of the fans our hero's finally get their due,  The sad thing is we had to wait almost a week to see it happen only to see it heavily edited, B.S.  I hope that this will be put out on Dvd with everything included.  I also hope you change your mind and give us Welcome To My Nightmare Two sooner than Halloween because it is done and I can't wait to hear it.  This band has meant more to me than any band in history and Alice is in my Cd player almost  non stop I never get bored of the Coop like I do other bands.  Congrats it was long past overdue.  I thought the performance was great by the way and since when did we care if Alice was on key?

Congatulations Alice and the AC Band! This was a long time coming cuz they'll never be another like the one and only King of Shock!! Saw you first in 73 and been a huge fan ever since. Only wish Glenn would have been around to savor the moment. But I know he was with you on stage in spirit.

At the age of 4 I learned my first song on guitar which was dead babies which was  freshly released  .

Love it to death , loved 2 albums 5 cassettes and 2 cd's to their death and still love it

Your tunes helped me  justify the insanity of a 20 year olds wildness and was the background sounds throught the night,

 I can't tell you how many times someone yelled the phone is ringing only to here you say  "telephone is ringin got you on the run "

Alice Cooper KILLER is the greatest rock LP of all time. MAsterpiece!. My first concert ever was the Alice Cooper band at the Keith albee in Huntington Wva in 1972 and remains my very best seen. Congrats to Alice and the band, one hell of a ride !

Alice! I want to congratulate you for being in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame! It is about time!! I've been waiting for so long for this and it's a dream come true for me. I also wanted to congratulate your legendary veteran band mates: Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce & Neal Smith together too, and of course the late Glen Buxton.
