News : Alice Cooper Reunites With Former Bandmates
Alice Cooper was the guest of honor at the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas last week.
After performing with various groups of campers and then taking part in one of the most entertaining Q&A's Noisecreep has ever witnessed (as Cooper is an exceptional storyteller), then everyone in the room got a huge surprise.
Cooper took over the small stage with his former lead guitarist Kane Roberts, who was then joined by Kip Winger on bass and Teddy 'Zig Zag' Andreadis on keyboards. It was a reunion of sorts for these guys that have all played with Cooper over the shock rock icon's storied career. Roberts became a guitar hero through his work with Cooper on his Constrictor (1986) and Raise Your Fist and Yell (1987) albums. Winger also played on both of those efforts, before leaving the band and starting hair metal era heroes Winger.
Cooper, Roberts and Winger were also joined onstage by another gifted musician.
John 5, a counselor at the camp last week, joined in on lead guitar as the band kicked it off with a blistering version of the Cooper classic 1973 single, "No More Mr. Nice Guy." The famed shredder played on Cooper's 2012 Welcome 2 My Nightmare album, lending a solo on the track "Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever."

An interesting and true story from Canada...
My wife's aunt and uncle spend the cold winter months in Phoenix every year, and the uncle is an avid golfer.
Anyway, he went out to play a round of golf one day, but didn't have a partner. The course staff asked if he would like to pair off with another gentleman who happened to be there alone, and he quickly agreed.
The two men played their round of golf, and in the process became friends. And they soon agreeed to continue golfing together.
Now this particular uncle was a tad older than his new partner, and had never been a fan of modern music. So it came as something of a surprise when sometime later he discovered his golfing partner was none other than the man himself, Mister Alice Cooper.
Their friendship continued on for several years I believe, with Alice entertaining the couple on accasion at one of his restaurants in Phoenix.
Now the one down side to this story comes in the fact that I myself have been an Alice fan since the release of "Love It To Death" back in the very early seventies. And my wife's dumb ass uncle never even got me an autograph!
their voices are absolutely not as rich and pleasant as yours, you are the best at singing your own songs.

wish i could have been there would have been great to jam with my hero
We're not worthy been going to see the Coop since '74 my kids are fans and seen him to Trash, raise the dead tours, he sang a line of "Only women Bleed" whilst holding my daughters hand into her face, got to bring my grand daughter to a show next but don't bite her Coop.
I'm always impressed by Alice's look. Sure he's not 20 anymore but, when I look at Kip Winger Alice still looks young anyway.
He doesn't actually look that old to be honest. It suprised me when i heard his actual age! :D

wrong bandmates, we need the original guys. The most incredible rock group in the world the legendary alice cooper!
Absolutely! Where in the world are Michael Bruce, Glen Buxton,Dennis Dunaway & Neal Smith? The ones who took over after them are good but not the true Alice Cooper Band who wrote the great classics that we still and will forever enjoy.
Alain, Mtl. Qc
Isn't Glen Buxton dead?
Three of the songs no "welcome 2 my nightmare" are with the originalband, but I don't think the original band is better ...
I grew up listening to these guys (killer, B.D.Babies, welcome to my nightmare, love it to death, all the early stuff, the original guys started it all, the best ****, cooper is GOD......
Every song on Killer is a classic.B.D.B comes real close.Nightmare didn't have the original band.Again.Killer is Top 10 of all time.Cheers.
For sure to me those are the classics I've seen the Coop 6 times over the years since 1974 Portland Iregon my first show tickets were $6. The last in my hometown in November of 2012. Love the stage show !!
