El es el creador del shock, influencio a Kiss, W.A.S.P, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Slipknot, Michael Jackson (si, Michael Jackson!!!!!!!) El show teatral de Michael esta basado en el show teatral de Alice. y ademas el fue unos de los primeros en usar maquillaje. Su musica ha variado infinidad de veces, pasando por el country (generation landslide), el pop (clones) metal (sanctuary) blues (blue turk) Rock and roll (ubagni stomp)...etc Ozzy el un genio tambien, pero no esta a la altura de Alice Cooper.

I half to go with alice i've been to  a alice cooper concert all my life for 10 years as a kid and ever scene alice has performed the greatest things on stage and i half to admit for a 62 year old rocker he still has a great voice and ozzy ... well i've only seen one concert at the PALCE and and i wasn't as exciting as alice. i've looked up to alice for ever  i love going to church i like golf and i like to rock and my name would be Desmond Dickson  .  As a kid i'll always whated a alive cooper jumpsuit or tux i'll even tried making one for halloween cause my birthday is on halloween and for once i would actually what to be king of rock for one night Anyway hope to see u this summer at freedom hill or DTE ENEGY once u put your tour dates up im going to try go get frort row its really hard to thow cause they are not cheep and people get to them to fast and it would be my first time to  so can't wait to see you in the summer bye Alice.

I went to a concert in the 70's at the Alexandria Roller Rink. lLong gone now....the two bands were BLACK SABBATH AND ALICE COOPER. ALICE WAS BACKING OZZY....OR OZZY WAS BACKING ALICE.  EXCELLENT CONCERT WISH THEY WOULD DO IT AGAIN...     THE ROLLER RINK WAS IN ALEXANDRIA,VA. USA.

Although I was a sabbath fan in the early 70's before  i even heard of Alice Cooper.  There is no comparison.  Alice is my number one all time favorite artist & role model

OK...... I AM VERY FAR FROM UK.....I AM FROM MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA AND I HAVE LISTENED ROCK MUSIC SINCE 1977.....AND I BEGAN WITH KISS, LED ZEP, BLACK SABBATH, QUEEN, HAWKWIND, ABBA AND ALICE COOPER.

ALICE`S MUSIC HAVE HAD PSICODELY, HARD ROCK, GLAM ROCK, NEW AGE ROCK AND HEAVY METAL .....

I DEFINITELY VOTE FOR COOPER, HE TWIST MY MIND AND DESAFORTUNATELY I DON`T SEE HIM LIVE.

OZZY IS GREAT, WITH SABBATH HUGE, BUT HAVE TO BE COOPER.

To me they are both very wicked musicians!  But Ozzy will always be king.

I had to laugh out loud about that Ozzy-fangirl scratching everyone doubting Ozzy's influence. Black Sabbath, yes, absolutely. Black Sabbath never was Ozzy alone, while, backed up by a fantastic original band, Vince Furnier always was the absolute centre and soul of any Alice Cooper performance. Answering this question with "Ozzy" referring to Black Sabbath is a kick in the face of the likes of Tony Iommi or Geezer Butler. Ozzy was replacable. Alice could never be replaced. And Ozzy alone never was so influential.

Alice is the master!!!

yes Ozzy has had a lot of impact on the metal scene, but so has Alice! Ozzy's sound rocks harder, but is more limited. Alice was first and paved the way for Sabbath. alice is a better song writer and performer. Ozzy is the prince of darkness, Alice IS the darkness!  For me, The Coop wins.

Love 'em both, but ALICE all the way. Have his eyes tattooed on the back of my head, and am working on a piece on my back. He's the centerpiece of it- his severed head with the noose and the snake around his  neck, the baby from Billion Dollar Babies on my shoulder- more to come- the guillotine, etc. He's been the one musician I've been able to ***** on for my entire adult life. FINALLY getting into the Hall Of Shame- I mean Fame. About time!!!!!!!!!!

I love 'em both! Alice has been and always will be my favourite, he has the ability to get a story and sense of humour in his songs. Plus he's amazing live, and he's played Liverpool!

I have loved Alice Cooper since 1989,I still think he's awesome.

Coop's shows are better now than back in 1973.  Loud and proud, Coop always rocks the house and is one of the greatest frontmen and songwriters of all time.

Alice is the man every day.

They are both great artists.  I grew up listening to both but must admit that for me the clear winner is Alice.  The sense of humour that goes into the crafting of his lyrics is incredible.  The macabre songs that are a signature style from one album to the next are also great.  A small sample of macabre songs include "Sister Sara", "Pick up the Bones", "Former Lee Warmer", "Gail".  Examples of hillarious songs include "I Love America", "Adaptable", "Prettiest Cop on the Block", "Dance Yourself to Death" and "The song that didn't rhyme".  Ozzy has his own signature style but it's just not the same.

That is a dumb question. Alice of course!  I like Ozzy and he still puts on a pretty good show.  But, Good is not Great.  If you want to see a great show! Then it's Alice hands down. Oh, yeah, more importantly, Alice is a much better song writer too!  Ozzy has great songs, but overall Alice has better albums/CDs. 

I could never choose between the two. Billion Dollar Babies and Sabbath ****** Sabbath set my life in motion and put me on the right trail back in 1973. I thank them both for being such a huge inspiration in my life for nearly 40 years.

Alice is the man!  They're both great, but Alice has always been on my turntable, in the 8 track player, cassette deck, cd player, or ipod.  Been listening to him since the 70s and the music never gets old!
