ALICE COOPER without a doubt!!!!!!!!!!When I saw the Brutally live concert on PPV and he sang "take it like a woman" 1/2 way thru I said to my step mom "Only Women Bleed is next watch" And it was! Took him over 20 years for a sequal to Only women Bleed. My Children are 20, 24 and 28. Grand chilodren are 10, 8, 7, 2, and 1 and all love his music! The older 3 grandkids can sing most of his songs. Alice my grandma died in 2007 at age 102 and she loved the nightmare special with vincent price. She loved the drums in clones, and one of the last songs I played before she passed was "Wake me Gently" of course now I can't play it w/out crying. Love you Alice xoxoxo from kids and grand kids. u have 2 generations w/ my family.
That's like asking which is better, the sun or the moon...Ozzy & Alice are both freekin awesome and I refuse to choose!
Alice has always been an underrated song writer. His voice is perfect for his songs. He's funny, humble and kind. I vote Alice.
Alice himself said this compairison thing was like asking who was scarier Joan Crawford or Betty Davis... while laughing. IMHO, they are both great! Alice a bit more tongue-in-cheek but no less kick-ass!
On another note, I would LOVE to see a co-headlining tour: Alice & Ozzy...

If you go by sheer impact alone Alice, he's influenced everything from Heavy Metal to Pop and even Country Garth Brooks has cited him as an influence. Alice's stage presence is awe inspiring at minimum. Ozzy might have been apart of the mighty Black Sabbath and laid a piece of the foundation with that group but Alice Cooper designed the entire concept of heavy metal, glam rock and showmanship which has only continued to evolve with the influence he's had on Marylin Manson, W.A.S.P., Rob Zombie, Megadeth and it continues on and on and on. Alice Cooper is "the" greatest rock performer of all-time and there is nothing that can convince me otherwise. He's a genius without the crazy!
I read through the comments that went with the vote the link sends you to. One person's comments really struck me as true.

I like both of them, "Crazy Train" is one of my all time favorite songs. But Alice just has so much more. While I like certain Ozzy *songs*, Alice puts out entire *albums* that I can listen to over and over again. I think "Welcome To My Nightmare" has to be one of, if not the, best rock albums ever released and that is just one of many great Alice albums.
Alice rules over Ozzie.Alice is a showman while oz is just a drunk stumbling around onstage!!

Any way one thing we agree on ALICE IS KING, nay, ALICE IS EMPEROR of darkness and shock!
Is there even a question? I mean really, Alice by a landslide is one of the best musicians of all time, any genre. Ozzy's good, maybe even great, but not one of the best of all time, Alice is.
And to all those who call Ozzy the prince of darkness sure, fine, whatever. But Alice is and forever will be the King of darkness, and the King of shock.

But if I would have to choose, I'll pick Alice anyway, for he has been with me for over 30 years now!!
Anyway, it's all a matter of opinion and there will always be persons who will love one more than the other, but a rocker loves them both is my idea!

I have a friend that his name is "Ozzy" because his father is a great fan of Ozzy, and I'm also a great fan of him, although I think that as myself some of Alice's songs describe me a lot better than Ozzy's songs.

Frickin Alice all the way. Ozzy is overrated and over paid. He is more like a rockin roll clown, sure he is a rock legend but I have to say I never and still don't like his voice even with Black Sabbath, and if you see him live he is soooo boring. "i love you guys" Clap for me common...did I say I love you guys... his stage persona is laughable.
Alice commands the stage from the second he steps foot on it and puts on a kick ass entertaining show and always gives you your moneys worth. I have seen him at least 15 times, I go every year and it's always a blast and fun to watch.
Long live The Coop, for me Ozzy doesn't even come close not in his heyday and not now.
I'm still an Alice Cooper kid and will remain so until I die.The Coop is the single most greatest pure entertainment package since early Cab Calloway.It was he who helped me grow up to become that which I am today. I've been a fan of both for 40 years. Ozzies distict voice really attracted me, but Alice's lyrics and stories told in his albums gives him the edge. As far as live in concert, Ozzie controls the show, but Alice creates a fantasy and with the mix of music and theatrics again Alice comes out on top. The best I can explain it, I took my older sister (NeilDiamondFan) to see Alice when she was 50. She said I'll watch for a while, and then go to the bar. Well she never left the show and wanted more when it was all done. Love em both,but Alice's face is tattooed to my left bicept.
Oh come on....that's like saying bread or water!? We love em both, but for different reasons - either way they both [still] ROCK, so good for them....long may it continue ^v^<3 D :-)

i have been watching Aice Cooper from the time i was 12 years old I had to sneek his albums into my house espicaly you can go to hell so it is Alice all the waylove his muisic and now that i am 50 I still stay up to listen untill 3oclock in themorning would love to go toa concert

I love Ozzy...but ALICE COOPER IS THE ALL TIME ROCK AND ROLL GOD!!!!! He's 64 and has kicked Death's ass on stage for decades!! think all the kinds of music he can pull-off! Hevy, rock, Ballads, slower songs, and so on!!! I mean look at Dragontown and Brutal Planet the go back and look and the song on Lace and Whiskey, Ubangi Stomp! He can pull-off everything inbetween too!!!! Alice Cooper is AMAZING!!! Sorry Ozzy, but The Coop's the winner of this one!

AS A MAJOR FAN AND COLLECTOR OF BOTH THESE ARTISTS I WOULD SAY ALICE. HIS 'ABUSIVE' PAST HASN'T AFFECTED HIS ABILITY OF SONGS HE IS ABLE TO PERFORM, OR LIVE PERFORMANCE. I'VE SEEN BOTH IN CONCERT WORLDWIDE FOR MANY, MANY YEARS (I'M 43). THE OSBOURNES SHOW, AFTER INITIALLY BEING AMUSING, SHOWED A LOT OF FANS THINGS WE WOULD RATHER NOT HAVE SEEN. MADE A LOT OF US THOROUGHLY DISLIKE SHARON AND HER SPOILT BRAT KIDS.
PLEASE NO TV SHOW ENTITLED 'THE COOPERS'....
AS FOR MUSICAL LEGACY - BOTH WILL BE IMMORTAL...
I like them equally, but Alice spread his wings and flew, and still is today. Alice knows how to put on a show!!!!!!
(I went to ozz fest a while ago, but the stage show was much less interesting and not as unique. and I have to agree, why did he do that bieber thing? NO ONE LIKES JUSTIN BIEBER!)
