This is a tough call. I admire botth for various reasons ,though I personally prefer Cooper's music. My choice would be Alice- however, that isn't necessarily based on my muscial preference, but just simple facts. Ozzty took the ball and ran with it in a legendary way.Of that there can be no question. But Alice created the ball and started it rolling in the first place.. That's why he renains my all time favorite musical artist- he did more than become part of a genre..this guy actually created one. Shock Rock. Sorry Ozzy fans, but although I've barked at the moon and rode that crazy train with the iron man many years, school's out . So, no more Mr. nice guy. The world needs guts if we're to to embrace our freedom while riding this runanway train, so it's gotta be the Coop all the way. ;)
Ozzy and Alice are so prety good, (I hate this type of discussion) but Alice is the best.

ALICE hands down and this is coming from a life long Black Sabbath/Ozzy solo fan.
Ozzy hasn't been able to sing well onstage for 20 years and Alice still has great power in his vocals live.
Ozzy has been an embarassment with canceling shows or shortening them many times over the years due to no fault but his own and his addictions. I've spent major $$$ on Ozzy only to be disappointed many times.
I don't think I've ever seen a bad Alice show and I've seen them both over 30 times throughout the years.
It's ALL about Alice!!! (I must admit I got a good belly laugh out of the Ozzy/Beiber commercial though.....)

If Alice had only done Ballad Of Dwight Frye, he would win this challenge without issue. Add School's Out, Clones (We're All), Years Ago, Steven, Under My Wheels, Cleansed By Fire, My Stars, Dead Babies, Beautiful Flyaway, Elected, I Love The Dead, Inmates (We're All Crazy), Didn't We Meet, This House Is Haunted, Pretty Ballerina, Muscle Of Love, You Drive Me Nervous, Dada, Nobody Likes Me, Caught In A Dream, Stolen Prayer, Second Coming, Be My Lover, Luney Tune, The Man With The Golden Gun, Only Women Bleed, Hard Hearted Alice, Is It My Body, Billion Dollar Babies, Pain, Slick Black Limousine, Killer, I'm Eighteen......and ALICE wins hands down. The diversity of this man's catalogue is stunning. And.......the original Alice Cooper band would and could blow Black Sabbath off the stage. Alice simply kicks ass!!!!!!!

Ozzy is a great man, weird, crazy man, living in excess in his own prison (his body).
Alice is a man that turned out all the world of music by his clever look over what a show must be, the extension of the sounds.
Alice gave everything to what an eye can see on stage and.... everyone was inspired by him and his talent on stage. EVERYONE.
KISS, MARILYN MANSON, MADONNA, BLACK EYED PEAS, IRON MAIDEN, ETC.
SO they were both great but don't even play on the same playground.
And i absolutely was a Coop' fan.

Alice is still in my heart - FOREVER. His School´s out, Feed my Frankestain, POISON, Hey Stoopid, I am made of you... . I really like his lyrics because they are full of emotions and has a beautiful voice. Ozzy´s voice is weird. Ozzy is not bad but for me is the best Alice Cooper. Always was and always will be.

That's a tough one...Alice Cooper hasn't made a real good record since '75 and Ozzy Osbourne since '81. I wonder if today's artists will be able to play and tour with the same songs for 30-40 years like the baby-boomer icons? (words to Keith Richards too...)

Alice is the only TRUE original shock rocker still shocking and rocking the world! Ozzy is a legend in himself, but not as much and as great as Alice in the SHOCK ROCKING world!
Mum or dad, eh? Well Alice then. Ozzy was a singer for Sabs when I got hooked on Rock Music and I was just a kid. Never was into BS or LZ anyway. Kiss looked cool as Forbidden Fruit[cakes] but Coop was --and for me still is-- an Enigma that spurred my imagination with all this unconventional imagery, twisted sound and a voice that could keep on creating vivid paintings inside your brain even after the needle goes off the groove and hits the edge... Magick!

Very hard question to answer. I've never seen ozzy but I've seen Alice. Personally though I'm gonna have to go with Alice and not just cuz i saw him. There are some Alice songs i don't like but there are some Ozzy songs i just cant listen to lol. I agree with whatever comment above though, a festival with Alice, Ozzy, Rob Zombie and Manson. Now thats a real mayhem fest!
This isn't even a fair question... Ozyy's awesome and all, but Fucking Alice changed music as we know it. I saw him in concert for the first time a few weeks ago, and I felt like I died, went to heaven and hell, then came back and har an eargasm. It was the greatest show of my entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're both brilliant, I've seen Ozzy four times and Alice Cooper once. Metal in their sixties that's incredible. I'll be happy if i can move at 63. My brother is a diehard ozzy fan, i have to go with Alice Cooper because his guitar player is hotter.
