News Item : False "News" of Alice Cooper Movie & Last Tour

January 28, 2011 | 10:49 PM

To all you Sick Things out there,

There was a completely false "news" report in Veronica Radio's online magazine in Holland today (Friday, 28th January 2011), claiming that there is a forthcoming movie on Alice's life that will commence filming in February and also that this year's tour will be his last. Both of these "news" reports are completely false! Please do not believe these rumors.

I am glad you are not retiring Alice!! Have seen you in concert at least a half a dozen times and you never disappoint!!!Cool

Wasn't worried cuz ya' just kill Alice, he keep coming back!!!!Wink

I'm glad that the rumour is false Smile. But i'll be more glad if Alice would come onetime to Amsterdam to play Yell PS: love the Theatre of Death bluray Cool

I have seen Alice perform live over a dozen times over the years and he never disappoints. He is truly an original artist.

Having said that, I hope that when the day comes when Alice decides to put the mascara away for good, he will go out while still at the height of his artistry.

Some of the great television shows of the seventies ended while they were still fresh and relevant. Others that continued past their best-before expiry date would end as cancelled shows that had reached self-parody.

I have never seen Alice Cooper in concert and it is a dream of mine to see him at least once. I am 22 years old and Alice is my rock hero. My introduction to Alice was being scared out of my wits with DaDa when I was small. Now, over the years I have grown to apprecitate and love that album.

My wish is that one day he will come out on stage and do a song or two from DaDa though, that is one of my all time favorite Alice Cooper Albums. Yes, the originals are untouchable, there is no doubt in my mind. But you can't go wrong with a little "Scarlet and Sheba".

And as for the people who are giving false news and false hope, well, you should be ashamed.

LONG LIVE ALICE COOPER!!! You are more than a legend!! You are my rock hero!!
We're all clones, all are one and one are all!

Glad to hear that there will be more tours. Grrrr Veronica Radio!!!

Hope you will come to Rotterdam, Holland again... it's been too long!

    Tosca...

We have addiction to your shows! We would die withtout them!

Holland loves Alice ! My fave Alice movie is the Theatre of Death Blu-Ray. So awesome !!! I've seen Alice live 15 times and hope see see at least 15 more Cooper shows !

There are 3 certainties on earth: life, death and Alice Cooper !

Takk og lov. Han er hjertelig velkommen tilbake til Norge. Jeg har kun sett 4 live show og de har alle vært fantastiske!!! Skriver dette på norsk bare på gøy.

Alice died on stage for fun many times; now we think he might die on it for real,if i dare to say so, that is tour and tour for years and never, never stop! To die on stage is the destiny and honor of the greatests artists and performers! "You keep killing us and we keep coming back "to your shows!

I like the movie idea. Ready for you to come back to Florida.

I'm so glad that those rumours was false!!!!!My heart was bleeding....

Phew !!!, that was one scarey, unthinkable rumour. Can now get back to planning a normal 2011 scedule and not the LAST one. Alice can never stop ! you know why ? cuz 'Alice Rules OK' !!!!!

oh thank the Lord for that I got really worried for a minute there KEEP ON ROCKING ALICE!!! :D

Just herd of this rumors and I'm glad it's not real. My dream is to see Alice live even once :)

A movie About Alice? we don't need one, just because we see and hear and meet him every year on tour, so don't stop touring Alice, Never!

glad to hear that the God of shock rock  won't be retireing however why don't we make that movie myth real huh?

Alice won't retire never!! I've seen Alice live 3 times and every show have been better!! Keep on going Alice!!

Great to hear that Alice is not retiring. Hoping he comes to Canada in 2011.

I'm glad to hear that this won't be the last tour Alice will do, but an Alice Cooper movie would be awesome.  I hope you'll be touring in Denver.
