News Item : Alice Rings In New Year With Supergroup

Alice rang in the new year by joining fellow Hall Of Famers James Hetfield (Metallica) and Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwod Mac) along with Pat Simmons (The Doobie Brothers) and Mike Kroeger (Nickleback) on stage in Maui to form a Supergroup like no other! The group got together to play on New Year's Eve for the MALA Benefit. The benefit helped the Maui Food Bank. Below are a couple of pictures of this Supergroup playing "School's Out."

    I agree with the poster who said it's a disgrace that the Doobies have not been inducted into the riock and roll hall of fame. They are the greatest. Forget the nickleback and fleetwood mac dudes, Pat Simmons would have made that show. He is a legend.

     I find it unfair, that Pat Simmos along with the group The Doobie Brothers, that he help cofound back in 1969-71 have not been inducted into the RRHF?????   They still tour and put on a great show!
