Iconic rocker Alice Cooper performs secret midnight concert at Brisbane bar

Alice Cooper has marked the end of his Australian concerts with a secret midnight gig at a Brisbane bar.

The rock legend wrapped up his Aussie tour, headlining the Pandemonium Rocks festival, by delighting locals with a surprise set at the aptly named Alice Bar in the Queensland capital on Sunday night.

Cooper and his band – performing as Goon Squad – have been on our shores since early April to headline the Pandemonium Festival alongside Blondie, playing in Melbourne, Sydney, the Gold Coast and Eatons Hill’s in Queensland on April 28, before their secret gig in Brisbane City.

“Live after party from the amazing @alicebarbris!” the 76-year-old captioned an Instagram video of their secret performance of Cooper’s 1994 hit song Lost In America.

“Australia… you ARE worthy! Thank you to @pandemoniumrocks and all the fans who came to see the great shows here in Australia!”

His bandmates, Ryan Roxie, Tommy Henriksen, Chuck Garric and Glen Sobel and were also there to rock on.

“We did a thing here last night in Brisbane! After our last show on the Pandemonium tour we played a Goon Squad after party at the #alicebar …Yes! That’s the name,” drummer Sobel wrote on Instagram earlier this week.

The rock legend rocked out at the aptly named Alice Bar.

Sobel revealed they were even joined onstage by other rockers on the Pandemonium line-up, including musicians from the Aussie rock act Wolfmother.

“So of course the boss made a surprise appearance for a few tunes along with @hurricanenita and a few of our other friends from the tour including Richard Fortus & Zach Alford from Psychadelic Furs, @maddenklass & Brendon from @wheatusofficial and Andrew Stockdale & Cameron from Wolfmother. Was a killer way to end this Aussie run! Next up is Europe in June/July…who we gonna see out there?”
